Liz has been involved in dog training since 2002. She became a certified trainer in 2013 after retiring from a successful corporate career that included teaching new processes and systems to adults. This experience proved to be very valuable in her second career, teaching people how to train their dogs.

Her passion is helping newly adopted dogs and their families live happily ever after by teaching the humans and the dogs how to communicate better with each other.

She has participated in a variety of canine sports including obedience, agility, tricks, and nosework and enjoys helping people see just how much fun we can have with our canine companions. With 15 years of therapy dog experience with her own dogs, Liz also enjoys teaching therapy dog readiness classes. 

She shares her home with her patient husband Stan and her Bernese Mountain Dog, Jasmine, along with Nelson, whom she adopted at 2 yrs of age from a local German Shepherd rescue group.

Liz is a believer that we never stop learning and strives to stay up to date with the latest information on animal behavior and training techniques by attending a variety of webinars, seminars, conferences, and classes every year.
