Teen Manners
Adolescence is a hard time for both dogs and their people!
During this developmental period, dogs experience BIG EMOTIONS to both scary and exciting stimuli. They struggle with impulse control which can result in a number of problem behaviors such as jumping, chasing wildlife, counter surfing, pulling on leash, barking, etc.
This class is for dogs that have completed a puppy or basic obedience class OR have worked with an in-home trainer, and is designed to help our dogs during the adolescent stage. They’ll learn how to cope and know what to do when new and exciting things happen in their environment, AND we’ll teach you the necessary skills that will support them on their way to adulthood ☺.
